Windsor Saddles have been manufactured in the UK for Trailrace since 1992.

The manufacturer is a family business that boasts a number of workers that were part of the early County team.

All Windsor Saddles have a traditional spring tree as their foundation. The spring tree is the original saddle tree and is still the best. The rider sits on a seat that is slightly suspended above the tree surface. The riders movement in the saddle causes slight flexion in the tree, giving the rider a softer feel. This softness is transfered through to the horse, giving a more comfortable ride all round. Saddles can be ordered in No 4, 5 & 6 widths and are all easily adjustable by a competent saddle fitter.

Leathers used are from Sedgewick, only the best.

Panels are all wool flocked. Computerised pressure testing shows, wool flocking is still the only system that allows the saddle panel to fully conform to the shape of the horses back and create a stable base, at the same time.
